So the time is now.

And if you're not familiar with what a Medicaid waiver is, here are just a few highlights:

✨  a government funded program that helps families pay for long term supports and services for their child with a disability
✨  intended to support kids with a disability, developmental delay, or complex medical needs who require a higher level of care; eligibility depends on state
✨ can cover things like in-home care, respite, therapies, supported employment, and more
✨ funded through Medicaid but covers services that standard Medicaid typically does not
✨ eligibility is typically based solely on your child's income, not household income, which means children from higher income families can and do qualify
