Rate of Force Development (RFD) is the difference-maker in elite performance — it’s how quickly you can apply force eccentrically to decelerate (braking phase) and concentrically to take off (propulsive phase).

An athlete with high RFD can absorb load fast and redirect that force into explosive movement — faster transitions, higher jumps, sharper cuts.
