Seattle summer kinda hits different! 

I grew up in Seattle and I moved away. I lived in Los Angeles and in New York City (the best city in the world).

There’s still a few things that Seattle has that I miss all the time.

It’s not too dry and it’s not too humid. It is literally the perfect amount of heat. But Seattleites will always complain that it’s humid but they don’t know humidity like Florida knows humidity.

Seattle has so much freshwater and also so much saltwater. It’s literally so beautiful.

The city barely smells like gasoline or exhaust or trash. It’s pretty dang clean mostly because all of the buses run on an electric grid.

Also, seaplane culture is so cool. I’m a little afraid to fly in one, but it still brings the vibes when you’re on the water.

There’s so many places to hike and swim and play. 

It’s truly an adult playground.

We don’t get tornadoes or tsunami’s, which is fricking epic.

I hope one day you make it out to Seattle just to experience it yourself.
