I got SO MANY DUMB COMMENTS in a recent Trial Reel that went viral. I mean….A LOT. Of course the video was about how soap is safe for cast iron. 

From people calling me a ‘fcking idiot’ or I ‘don’t know sh*t’ or I ‘have fat wrists and need to get in shape’ (that one was my favorite) to ‘you washed off the nonstick’ or ‘now make an eggs and see what happens.’

People were refusing to just look into it or look at any cast iron manufacturers website.

Literally refusing to learn that they’re wrong.

So I had to repost this video from a few months ago. 

Soap will not remove your seasoning. Soap will not make your food stick. If your food sticks then your technique, to put it bluntly, sucks. 

This is fact. Not fiction. Not a conspiracy.
