The FIFA Fan Festival in Philadelphia is temporarily closed because of the weather Monday afternoon, according to a post on social media. 

Severe storms are expected to move into the area and bring damaging winds, lightning and the threat of isolated tornadoes in some parts. 

A NEXT Weather Alert is in effect as heavy rain could lead to flash flooding and possibly impact the World Cup match between France and Iraq at 5 p.m.
