✈️ WOMEN TAKE FLIGHT IN HISTORIC AIR RACE: More than 100 women pilots from across the country made a stop in Frankfort as part of the Air Race Classic, a 2,400-mile cross-country competition that traces its roots back to Amelia Earhart. 

Participants say the nearly century-old race showcases female aviators and inspires the next generation in an industry still largely dominated by men.
