Meet the Owner of lovekatiedistilling, Katie Sirianni! 🍹🌈 We caught up with her to find out more about how this incredible gem came to life and the secrets behind their amazing distillery.

⭐️ How did you get started in your business/what inspired you?
"It all started unexpectedly while I was running a mobile bar company and partnering with local distilleries. After someone joked that I should open my own distillery, I decided to go for it, even though I had very little experience."

"The inspiration for my brand is my amazing fiancée, Jen, and I wanted it to have real meaning so I named it as if it were a love letter: “Love, Katie Distilling.” As Pennsylvania’s first and only gay-owned distillery, I aimed to create a brand and space that celebrates all kinds of love, with our motto “Let it be your love letter” and an actual love letter on every bottle. Ultimately, our distillery is welcoming to everyone; we’re not just a gay bar, but a cocktail lounge built on sharing love."

⭐️ What is your favorite part of the biz?
"My favorite part is converting non-gin drinkers into gin fans with our Love, Querida Gin. Seeing their surprised reactions when they realize they actually enjoy gin is incredibly rewarding. I also love creating our seasonal cocktail menu each month, which features over 40 craft cocktails and regularly changes, turning the process into a fun, collaborative event with family and friends."

⭐️ Any fun facts?
"As Pennsylvania’s first and only gay-owned distillery, and one of fewer than 2% worldwide that are both gay and woman-owned, I’m proud to bring visibility and meaning to this space. We launched the brand on International Pride Day (June 28) to honor what it stands for: love is love, pure and simple. Our cocktail lounge features stylish black, white, and gray decor with vintage music, plus a welcoming patio that showcases rainbow art from The Positive Painting Project to raise suicide awareness."
