World Cup Pizzas ⚽️ USA 🇺🇸 vs Türkiye 🇹🇷  The United States are moving on to the round of 32 after clinching the top spot in group D. They are back in Los Angeles tonight to close out group play against Türkiye. Türkiye's pizza inspired by the Turkish street food staple, Lahmacun which is a thin flatbread topped with a spiced meat mixture and baked off until crisp. The name comes from the Arabic, "lahm bi ajeen", meaning "meat on dough". and the dish is popular in Türkiye, Armenia, and parts of the Middle East. It's made by chopping tomato, a mixture both sweet and hot peppers, onion, garlic, and parsley until fine. That gets mixed with ground lamb, hot turkish red pepper paste, tomato paste, paprika, and salt. My pizza version starts with my rolled and cured tavern dough and it gets topped all to the edge with the spiced lamb mix. After a quick bake in my @gozney Arc XL it's finished with the tradtional squeeze of lemon juice, thinly sliced tomatoes, sumac onions, and minced fresh parsley. Lahmacun is typically refered to as Turkish Pizza and it works so well with the Chicago style thin dough. The result of tonight's is inconsciquental. We're on to the knockout stage but the hype is real folks. Get excited because this US team is special and desereve all of our support! Say with with me now I believe that we will win!
