Nobody warns you that building a company will make you the most interesting and most unavailable person you know.

By 2pm I’ve made more decisions than most people make in a week. By 7pm I want someone to pick the restaurant so I don’t have to use my brain anymore. 

That’s the founder version of balance.
I run a company. I’m also a person who wants to sit somewhere cute and not talk about KPIs. 

Both of those people live in this body and they’re fighting for the remote every single night.

I don’t have balance figured out. But I stopped pretending I’m the type of person who’s fine just working. I’m not. I want the life too.
