It’s World Ranger Day, a day to honor the brave individuals who monitor and protect endangered wildlife around the planet. 🌍

Fossey Fund gorilla trackers risk their own comfort and safety to ensure that gorillas have a future. They trek for hours, days and sometimes weeks to reach wild gorillas in their forest habitats. 

Whether it be traversing over difficult terrain or encountering unpredictable weather, these men and women always stay committed to the critical mission at hand: saving gorillas. We are so grateful. 💛

Today, we also want to offer special thanks to craghoppers - they outfit and provide supplies to our tracking teams, keeping them prepared and in tip-top shape for the challenging work they do. Thank you, Craghoppers!
