This tree has weathered a thousand storms. Over the years,  it has nourished birds, sheltered countless animals, and mothered the surrounding forest through the seeds it gave to the earth. It stood tall long before we were even born.⁣

But it took only minutes to cut down. ⁣
⁣
Why can't we keep those giants in their place? There are efforts to protect old buildings. Yet, when it comes to forests and trees, we make a different choice.⁣

Deforestation doesn't just erase trees -  it erases ecosystems, histories, and the futures of communities who depend on forests to live.⁣

No more cutting down the giants. Protect them and protect all those who live alongside them.⁣
