From inspiration to reality in just four days — meet the Gus Bus. 🦁🚌✨

Last week, 13 students in grades 5–12 gathered at our Columbus Avenue Spark Lab for “Build Week” with one shared mission: to design and build a play structure for our Lower School Lions at our 94th Street campus. Armed with tools, teamwork, and a whole lot of inspiration, and the help of design teachers Billy Schultz and Rob Gilson, they designed and built a one-of-a-kind play structure featuring none other than our always prideful mascot, Augustus “Gus” Lion!

We’re filled with pride to see the amazing things this dream team accomplished during Build Week 2026 — great work, Lions!
