The Ohio Supreme Court has again refused to hear an appeal from #MackenzieShirilla, who was convicted of murdering her boyfriend, #DominicRusso, and their friend, #DavionFlanagan, in a 2022 crash.

In a ruling issued June 23, the court declined to take up the case. The decision comes after the court previously rejected another appeal because it was filed one day late.

Shirilla’s attorneys argued that she may have blacked out behind the wheel due to a pre-existing medical condition, but the court declined to review the claim.
