No matter the season, our team is committed to thoughtful stewardship, and we want to thank them for their continued efforts every day and on #EarthDay. From composting food scraps in our kitchens to setting up guest sorting stations, we reduce waste daily. But we’re not stopping there—starting in the 2025/26 season, we’ll be introducing reusable plates and utensils to cut down on single-use waste even further.

Here’s a look at some of the ways our team at Mount Sunapee is making an impact:

❄️ Recent upgrades in snowmaking to more energy-efficient snow guns.
🔁 Our soft plastics collection program helps turn plastic wrap and packaging into park benches.
♻️Thanks to our partner Pepsi, we’re #recycling snack wrappers and turning them into Adirondack chairs and terrain park features you’ll find around the resort.
⚡#compost collected at Sunapee is sent to an anaerobic digester, generating clean electricity to power local farms.
