Delphine -Ski & Ride School Instructor

🏂 Meet Delphine 
A snowboard instructor with nearly 25 seasons under her belt. Delphine brought her love for the slopes all the way from the French Alps to Sunapee. One of her favorite memories? Inspiring a former student to become an instructor.
Her advice:
1️⃣ Take your time and savor the experience. There’s no need to rush.
“The slower you go, the more you’ll enjoy the freedom of being out in the snow. The mountain will still be there when you're ready to pick up the pace. Focus on learning the basics and having fun, rather than stressing about looking perfect or getting it right on the first try.”
2️⃣ Keep your body loose – "Think of it like dancing with the mountain! And remember, falling is part of the process—everyone falls while learning. The key is to fall safely, get back up with a smile, and keep going!"
3️⃣ Don’t forget to take breaks, drink plenty of water, and enjoy the stunning mountain views. You’re not in a race, so give yourself time to relax, recharge, and fully embrace the journey.

To sum up her love of Sunapee: “Sunapee is like a slope symphony… It highlights the harmonious relationship between the rider, the terrain, and the surrounding environment. Just like a symphony, where different instruments come together to create a beautiful composition, the mountain's slopes offer a variety of experiences—smooth turns, mild terrain, and quiet moments—all blending together into a sweet and smooth ride.”
