🌟Sunday Spotlight - Women's Month Edition🌟

This March, we’re kicking off Women’s Month by celebrating the incredible women who make a difference at Mount Sunapee and beyond. First up: meet 𝘼𝙢𝙮 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙨, Senior Manager Product Sales and Service (PSS) Northeast Region.

Amy oversees four resorts, including Mount Sunapee, Okemo, Mount Snow, and Crotched, blending her leadership experience in education and sales with her passion for the mountains. After moving to NH and attending Plymouth State, Amy fell in love with snowboarding and began her full-time ski industry career in 2015.

As a proud female leader, Amy reflects on her journey:
"I’ve faced the challenge of being perceived as someone who 'cares too much.' The idea that a woman can be 'too much' is a battle I’ll continue to fight. Because I care deeply, I make higher-quality decisions. I’m proud of the progress we’ve made in this industry, yet there is still so far to go."

Her advice for women in the industry?
"The idea that women can have it all is unrealistic. We can have it all—just not all at the same time. Life has seasons and stages. Give yourself grace, embrace change, and focus on what brings you joy."

Amy’s favorite Sunapee traditions include spring skiing on sunny days and the annual t-shirt race in March, which she attended while her son grew up ski racing. Her most special moments, though, happen every time she’s able to make turns on the hill.

"My dad lit the spark in me to live fearlessly and chase dreams. My husband and nearly grown kids continue to support and inspire me. Our family values working hard and playing hard."

Fun fact: Back in 2003, Amy’s 5th-grade students won @crotched_mountain's “Name the Trails” contest, creating the space-themed trails we know today!🚀

Here’s to Amy and all the fearless women leading with passion and purpose. 💙
