Meet Chantelle - Ski & Ride School Instructor (Center)

What started as a side job 17 seasons ago has turned into a full-on lifestyle for Chantelle. From heli-skiing in Whistler with her Sunapee SRS crew to guiding guests down the hill as a mountain ambassador, she's done it all.

Her top advice for beginners:
1️⃣ Learn at your own pace—don’t compare yourself to others.
2️⃣ Take a lesson from me or one of our skilled instructors; we’ll help boost your confidence and safety.
3️⃣ Focus on the fun—it’s the key to turning skiing into a lifelong passion!

Her go-to beginner trail? Ridge – Perfect for a mix of terrain and breathtaking views.

Why Sunapee’s learning terrain is the best:
"It provides easy lesson progression—from flat areas to small, medium, and large carpets. Each increase in slope grade and length helps students progress at their own pace. Not to mention, our chairlift services 3-6 trails with glades and narrower sections to work on all levels of skiing and riding. Having South Peak separate from the main mountain makes it safer and more comfortable to progress."

Meet her dogs: Guinevere (mum), Sebastian, Maeve and Rose (pictured).
In the warmer months, Chantelle does 1-2 night backpacking trips with one of her four dogs in the mountains of VT and NH for some solo time together!

Fun fact: Chantelle ALSO loves to ski—she says it's good to be versatile! She’s also a Revo ambassador and shares her adventures on social media, creating fun reels from her ski and ride days with her mountain friends. They bring plenty of laughs and bloopers!
