Haley B- Ski Patrol

Haley is an extremely radiant and passionate team member! She joined our Sunapee crew two years ago, working in the summer on our mountain bike patrol team to snowboarding our winter slopes.

Haley began snowboarding at age 5 but really got into it at 10 years old. She learned at Whaleback Mountain and instructed there for two years during high school. Mountain biking came into the picture later, in 2018, when she met her fiancée! Haley's favorite Sunapee area is Ridge Glades, "it's so quiet and long, they're so fun I could spend all day there!"

"All of it (Sunapee) is my favorite! The community is amazing, everyone here is the best. I get to help people and snowboard- what's there not to like!? When people ask me when I'm going to get a 'real job', I'm like, why would I do anything else? It's so cool." Haley's favorite Sunapee memory is being in the pond at the 2023 Slush Cup (Pictured in the third photo!)!!

In her free time, Haley hangs with her fiancée and two giant Newfoundland dogs, Fern & Sage🐕, going on road trips, mountain biking, and snowboarding! "This IS my free time. It feels like I'm cheating!" 

Haley and her patrol crew are all friends outside of work. "They're the best crew ever! Everyone's so nice and wants you to learn and get better. We're the weirdest people, and I'd never think to hang with them, but we all genuinley love to see each other." Fun fact: the average age of a Ski Patroller is 57, the average age on the Sunapee Patrol Crew is 63.

Although Mount Sunapee is awesome, Haley dreams of working for patrol out west, specifically @stevenspass. With the big bowls and avalanches, comes getting to work with avy dogs🐶
