A strange thing happened after loss.

I started paying attention.

To sunsets.

To songs.

To ordinary moments.

To stars.

Not because I suddenly believed they held answers.

But because grief changed the way I see life.

Before loss, I rushed through a lot of moments.

After loss, I realized how precious they are.

So when I see a bright star, I don’t know if it’s really you.

But I do know this:

You taught me to look up.

You taught me to notice.

You taught me that life is fragile, beautiful, and never guaranteed.

And maybe that’s why grief didn’t just change how I think about death.

It changed how I think about life. 🌟❤️
