Hot take: Killing isn't conservation. 

Trophy hunters target large male elephants, removing their genes from the population. 

Besides being essential for breeding, these bulls play critical roles in elephant societies, especially for schooling young males. 

African elephants are complex, social animals who pass down generational knowledge and depend on each other to thrive. 

These majestic animals belong in the wild — not on walls. Yet sadly, elephant trophy trade is thriving under the second Trump administration. 

It needs to be stopped.
