Volume 01 of some recent writing around The Future of Craft. We’re surrounded by an exceptionally well crafted framework for the Appreciation of Craft, the Designer collaboration, the Retail presence, the Gallery showing and the Auction houses. It’s easy to mistake that elaborate construct for the actual work of Craft. It’s not. We’re trying to reimagine the role of Craft in an increasingly mechanised, dopamine-hit society from an abolitionist lens, where it’s important to call out the Parasitic practices we see around us.
