For my birthday weekend, I was invited to experience a wellness retreat at Dream Inn dreaminn_santacruz - and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

The retreat was thoughtfully designed to help guests slow down, reconnect, and recharge through meditation, sound healing, breathwork, movement, and meaningful connection. After a busy season of work and motherhood, a weekend focused on rest felt like the greatest gift.

What made it even more special was the setting. Dream Inn sits directly on the beach, with stunning ocean views and easy access to everything that makes Santa Cruz magical. Between retreat sessions, I surfed, paddle boarded, swam in the ocean, watched seals, explored the coastline, and simply enjoyed having nowhere to rush.

The food at jackoneillrestaurant was another highlight. Fresh local ingredients, beautiful oceanfront dining, and the kind of meals that make you want to stay for dessert even when you’re full.

I arrived feeling exhausted and left feeling rested, inspired, and deeply grateful. Thank you, Dream Inn, for such a memorable birthday weekend. 🤍
