aperitivo hour at home ft. Michigan apples — because obviously they were invited 🍎🧀✨

This easy marinated cheese is going to be your new go-to summer app. Bring along to a yap session at a friends house or keep on hand for hosting at home.  Serving this up in a cool steel coupe or any fun bowl/plate you have on hand and it’s instantly elevated into a chic wine bar style patio snack

what you’ll need:
- olives (Castelvetrano are my fav)
- cornichon (lil french pickles)
- marinated tomatoes (the ones in oil are most flavorful imo)
- havarti cheese (pick a semi hard cheese so it keeps its shape while soaking in all the flavors)
- sliced Michigan gala apples (a unique sweet and bright crunchy element. and they won’t brown for a while with marination!)
- seasoning/marinade: fresh chives, oregano, parsley, red pepper flakes, flakey salt, olive oil, lemon zest & juice
(optional to add in charcuterie of your liking for a spicy flavor if you partake)

this will keep for up to a week in the fridge!
