In your last meeting, someone may have said: 
 
🔵 Let me get back to you on that. 
 
Then they moved on. 
 
You could use: 
 
I’ll give you an answer later.  
 
✅ That is correct English. 
 
But “I’ll get back to you on that” sounds more natural at work. It sounds like something a colleague would actually say. 
 
Small words like “get” do a lot of work in natural workplace English. They make your English sound clearer, warmer, and less like a textbook. 
 
Most courses skip them.
