Every comment about supplementing comes from a place of care. I know that.

But here’s what I wish more people understood: a pump and a baby are not the same measuring tool. What I can pump and what they can nurse are two completely different numbers — and only one of them is relevant to whether my babies are actually getting enough.

So I check the only things that matters: are they growing, are they gaining, are they thriving.

Yes. Yes. And yes.
