The older I get, the more I realize that every season has a purpose.

Some seasons feel like momentum. Others feel like waiting. Some feel like you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be, while others leave you questioning what God is doing behind the scenes.

The truth is, growth doesn’t always happen in the seasons we enjoy the most. Sometimes it happens in the seasons that challenge us, stretch us, humble us, and force us to become someone we’ve never been before.

A lot can change in a year and a half. Plans change. Expectations change. Life changes.

But one thing I’ve learned is that every season carries a lesson if you’re willing to embrace it.

Don’t spend so much time wishing you were in a different chapter that you miss what this one is trying to teach you.

Embrace the season you’re in.

Learn from it. Grow through it. Trust God through it.

One day you’ll look back and realize it was preparing you for something greater all along.
