The Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) has announced the appointment of Japanese coach Taka Minowa as head coach of the Alas Pilipinas Women for the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, set for September 19 to October 4.

Meanwhile, Italian tactician Angiolino Frigoni remains the head coach of the Alas Pilipinas Men, with both appointments taking effect on July 1 until October 15.
