Newman Nyamhuri led the bowling destruction with a ferocious 4 for 61, turning the game on its head just as Mominul Haque (60) looked settled. Brimming with confidence, Zimbabwe's batsmen came out flying in reply. Innocent Kaia smashed a blistering, unbeaten 76* alongside Ben Curran (42) to put on a rapid opening stand. By stumps, the Chevrons reached a commanding 136/1, trailing by a mere 4 runs.
