The Timberwolves are thrilled with their acquisition of LaMelo Ball and love the long-term outlook of the roster 🐺

“He makes Ant better, Jaden better, Rudy and Joan Beringer better… How many other players in the league would make your three best players better without getting in the way?” one team source said.

Anthony Edwards has long admired LaMelo’s game and the two have been close for years

Minnesota is also confident LaMelo will thrive within the organization’s culture despite past questions about his maturity.

The Wolves love the long-term outlook of their roster. Gobert and DiVincenzo are the only players older than 26, while LaMelo, Ant and McDaniels are all under contract for at least the next three seasons

“Our roster is stacked for the next three years,” one team source said. “And probably longer.”
