My mom was just beginning life in America when my dad was suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. 

What followed were years of heavy grief and survival— alone in a foreign land with people even telling her to go back. 

Nearly 20 years later from his passing, she becomes a nurse at 58. 

Some victories are so much bigger than people can understand. Only God knows how much strength it took to get here. 🙏❤️
