College Football in the 2010s was special 🔥

In 2013, redshirt freshman quarterback Jameis Winston exploded onto the national scene at Florida State, throwing for 4,057 yards and 40 touchdowns while leading the Seminoles to a perfect 14-0 season and the last BCS title with a victory over Auburn, earning him the Heisman Trophy as one of the most dominant young QBs in recent history. 

In 2017, Baker Mayfield—after transferring from Texas Tech—took over at Oklahoma and peaked spectacularly, passing for 4,627 yards and 43 touchdowns with elite efficiency (a then-record 198.9 rating), winning the Heisman, and steering the Sooners to the CFP semifinals with his dual-threat playmaking and fiery leadership. 

At the same time, Penn State running back Saquon Barkley became a highlight machine in 2016 and 2017, rushing for 1,496 and 1,271 yards respectively (plus strong receiving numbers), scoring 18 touchdowns each season, earning All-American honors, and finishing as a Heisman finalist thanks to his rare combination of speed, power, vision, and explosiveness that made him one of the most dynamic backs of the decade.
