અમદાવાદમાં સાણંદ તાલુકાના ડરણ ગામે ખેતરોમાં ડ્રેનેજ લાઈન નાખવાના મુદ્દે ખેડૂતોનું આંદોલન આજે દસમા દિવસે પણ યથાવત રહ્યું હતું. ખેડૂતોનો આક્ષેપ છે કે આ કામગીરીથી તેમની ખેતીની જમીનને નુકસાન થઈ રહ્યું છે અને અનેક રજૂઆતો છતાં યોગ્ય ઉકેલ મળ્યો નથી. આ દરમિયાન સાણંદ-બાવળાના ધારાસભ્ય કનુભાઈએ ડરણ ગામે પહોંચીને ખેડૂતો સાથે ચર્ચા કરી તેમની રજૂઆતો સાંભળી હતી. તેમણે ખેડૂતોને તેમની માંગણીઓ સરકાર અને સંબંધિત વિભાગ સમક્ષ રજૂ કરી યોગ્ય ન્યાય અપાવવાનો વિશ્વાસ આપ્યો હતો. જોકે, ખેડૂતોનું કહેવું છે કે સંતોષકારક નિરાકરણ નહીં આવે ત્યાં સુધી તેમનું આંદોલન યથાવત રહેશે.
