She didn’t just save lives - she preserved identities, secretly recording the children’s names and hiding the records so their families and histories would not be erased, as the Nazis intended.

In a time of unimaginable darkness, Irena chose courage in service of humanity and what was right. The world needs more Builders like Irena Sendler. People willing to stand up to injustice, even when the cost is high.
