With carryout and delivery providing a lifeline to restaurants during the pandemic, it's no wonder the industry is responsible for 72% of single-use packaging waste. Companies like DeliverZero focus on changing that percentage by providing restaurants with reusable and returnable food packaging. These long-lasting containers allow businesses to lower their overall packaging costs and provide customers with an environmentally friendly alternative to single-use packaging.

To opt-in, patrons pay 25 cents to have their food packaged in a reusable BPA-free container. They then have six weeks to return the packaging to participating restaurants or get charged a small fee. Once returned, restaurants wash the containers in-house and can use them up to 1000 times.

A win for the restaurants, customers, and most importantly, a win for the environment!
