I remember being a purple belt and constantly transitioning from one submission to the next mindlessly. The truth is, if you are in a great position like the triangle you should not be looking to transition to another submission unless you absolutely have to. Especially because the triangle is a choke so you can put your opponent to sleep, whereas if you transition to a joint lock they can allow themselves to be injured and potentially escape and stay in the fight. #DailyDrill
