Allstate Championship Series - Baseball

For the first time in 20 years, number 13
kubaseball captured the Big 12 Baseball Championship presented by Allstate. The Jayhawks defeated number 9 West Virginia, 9 to 0, to secure their second conference tournament title and first since 2006!! The shutout marked just the second championship-game shutout in Big 12 Tournament history. With the victory, Kansas became the first team since 2009 to win both the Big 12 regular-season and tournament championship outright!

The championship victory also earns the Jayhawks valuable points in the allstate Big 12 Championship Series, the year-long competition recognizing excellence across athletics, academics, and community impact. As the race for the Allstate Big 12 Championship Trophy comes to an end, Kansas has strengthened its position in the standings while adding another conference title to a historic season!
