After spending nearly three years bedbound due to ALS while completing his PhD, Jeremy Van Tress found unexpected inspiration watching the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.

What began as a simple goal to improve his quality of life has grown into a pursuit of representing Team USA in para-cycling. Now training toward the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles, Jeremy continues to redefine what's possible, proving that resilience can transform even life's greatest challenges into new purpose.
