Nara Smith opened up for the first time about her 2-year-old daughter, Whimsy Lou, being diagnosed with cancer late last year. ➡️

“When we noticed something concerning with her, we took her to the emergency room, but the doctors there weren’t quite sure what to make of it,” Nara shared in her TikTok video announcing the tragic news. “When we went to our pediatrician, I just remember how suddenly he became very serious and quiet... At that moment, my heart stopped.”

She shared with her followers how she had a feeling that it was cancer and once they conducted the biopsy, the doctors immediately told her and her husband, Lucky Blue Smith, that their daughter had cancer and she needed to “start chemotherapy right away.”

Nara didn’t disclose the specific type of cancer Whimsy was diagnosed with, but according to Nara the family has since made it through treatment.
