Hot Honey BBQ Beef Sliders 🤤

The easiest way to win the summer cookout. The only way to make them better is to double the batch 🍔 ☀️ .

RECIPE 👇

Homemade Hot Honey BBQ Sauce

- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp Mike’s Hot Honey
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp smoked paprika

Mix everything together until well combined.

Beef

- 1 chuck roast
- Yellow mustard
- Your favorite BBQ rub
- 2 tbsp butter
- Homemade Hot Honey BBQ Sauce

Coat the beef with a thin layer of yellow mustard, then season generously with BBQ rub.

Oven Method:

Place the beef in a baking dish, cover tightly with aluminum foil, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 3 hours, or until fork-tender.

Remove from the oven, add 2 tbsp butter and a generous amount of the Hot Honey BBQ Sauce. Cover again and bake for 30 more minutes.

Shred the beef with two forks until it’s juicy and fall-apart tender, then toss it with the cooking juices and sauce.

Smoker Method:

Coat the beef with mustard, season with BBQ rub,

cover tightly with aluminum foil , and smoke at 250°Ffor 3 hours.

Wrap it tightly in aluminum foil with 2 tbsp butterand a generous amount of the Hot Honey BBQ Sauce, then return it to the smoker for about 2 more hours, or until the beef is melt-in-your-mouth tender and shreds easily.

**Caramelized Onions**

- 2 onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter

Cook the onions in butter over medium-low heat until soft, golden, and caramelized.

**Assemble**

- Slider buns
- Cheddar cheese
- Shredded Hot Honey BBQ beef
- Caramelized onions
- Homemade Hot Honey BBQ Sauce
- Provolone cheese slices
- 2 tbsp melted butter

Layer the bottom slider buns with cheddar cheese, followed by the shredded beef, caramelized onions, and an extra drizzle of the Hot Honey BBQ Sauce. Top with provolone cheese, then place the top slider buns over everything.

Brush the tops generously with melted butter, then bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops are lightly golden.

Serve warm with extra Hot Honey BBQ Sauce on the side.
