Thank you so much to university_of_beer for showing us such an incredible time! On & Isabella really took care of us, along with the entire staff. 

Here’s my HONEST review…..

1. Firecracker Sashimi - I’m not a seafood guy but the girls loved it. Perfect happy hour size for sharing. Priscila says to this day it was a 10/10, and usually doesn’t over exaggerate on her ratings. 

2. Drunken Pig Fries - These were my second favorite of the night. I LOVE waffle fries and these were cooked perfect. Crispy, flavorful, loaded with toppings, so good. They said they get the pig drunk and you can tell haha I give it a 8/10. 

3. Russian River Nachos - These blew me away because when you have beer cheese, half the time it tastes like regular nacho cheese…not here. I’m a big Russian River fan and they KILLED it with these. If you’re a beer cheese fan, these are absolute for you. I give it a 7/10 mainly because I’m not a big onion guy but the girls macked it. Beer cheese on its own is a 10/10. 

4. Chimichurri Steak with Truffle Fries - 12/10. I swear this was the BEST item I tried. I never thought of UOB as a steak dinner type of place but they blew me away. 

5. Drunken Surf & Turf Noodles - Again, not a seafood guy but I would never turn down a chef pairing! I give this a 7/10 for the flavor and spice of the noodles. Then when you pair it with the Mexican lager, idk why or how, but it just hits. 

6. Cowboy Burger - Cooked perfect, classic western burger, they killed it. Probably my sisters favorite that we had. Let’s give it a solid 8/10. 

7. Sticky Toffee Cake - No words. You can’t rate perfection. It was the perfect combo of hot cake and cold ice cream. I’ll be back. I WILL be back for this. 

UOB is my new go to spot for the remainder of the World Cup ⚽️ but they have so much more even once this all wraps up! From trivia nights every Wednesday to Happy Hour M-F from 3-6pm, this family owned and operated spot should be on your radar in east Sacramento! Vamos Mexico! 🇲🇽
