🇪🇸 Yesterday, Spain officially closed its extraordinary regularization program for undocumented migrants.

The program was open for approximately 2.5 months and attracted an incredible level of interest.

The government initially expected around 500,000 applications, but in the end more than 1.2 million people applied—more than double the original estimate.

At the same time, the reform is still facing legal challenges. Spain’s Supreme Court is reviewing whether certain provisions comply with European legislation.

However, for those who have already submitted their applications, the key point remains the same: their cases are already being processed. In fact, some DreamLife Spain clients have already received positive decisions.

Congratulations! 💙

So, what does this mean now?

With the extraordinary regularization program now closed, the main pathways to Spain are once again:

✅ Digital Nomad Visa
✅ Student Visa
✅ Non-Lucrative Visa and Highly Qualified Professional Visa

And for people who are already in Spain without legal status, legalization through one of the five Arraigo pathways may still be possible in the future, provided all legal requirements are met.

Spanish immigration law continues to evolve, which is why having the right relocation strategy based on current regulations and real practice is more important than ever.

We wish everyone a smooth process—and, of course, a fast approval. 💙🇪🇸
