i can't believe this project isn't more talked about...

in 2006 the radio dept. released an album called 'pet grief,' that in my opinion, could have been genre defining if given the right marketing and praise

the sweden based band offers a shoe gaze and dream pop infused sound, that is right up there with the likes of beach house, mac demarco, men i trust, and so many other great indie acts

i randomly found one of their songs on a spotify radio, and i have listened to the project from top to bottom at least 10-15 times since

with that in mind i simply had to share this gem with you, but i would love to hear if you already know their work, as well as if there are any criminally underrated projects worth diving into below!
