Karen Jarrett breaks her silence in the new Dark Side of the Ring teaser.

Season 7 premieres Tuesday, July 7 on Vice TV and opens with a three-part story on Jeff Jarrett and the early years of TNA Wrestling, the first three-parter in the series' history. The teaser features Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett, Scott D'Amore, Vince Russo, Jim Cornette, Father James Mitchell, D'Lo Brown, and Awesome Kong.

Speaking publicly on the subject for the first time, Karen Jarrett disputes the story that an affair ended her marriage: "People thinking that that marriage got broken up by a love affair couldn't be more wrong. Kurt and I were legally separated in 2006." She adds, "I'm here to set the record straight."

Awesome Kong recalls the perception at the time: "The word on the street was that Karen had left Kurt for Jeff. They were having an affair."

Jeff Jarrett addresses Kurt Angle's struggles during that era, saying, "Kurt was having more bad days than good days. The disease of addiction is undefeated."
