Best of Season 2025-2026 | Part 1 🎞️

Skistad 1 - 0 Sweden for the 1st sprint of the season. 😮‍💨

The Swedish women. Ruka. Classic sprint. A combination that has so often meant dominance.

Before the final, the question was simple: who could beat them today? Skistad? A Finnish skier backed by the home crowd? Nadine? A German sprinter?

But Skistad had other plans, in her trademark style — all power, quite little tempo — she was almost leading already at the top of the final climb, exactly where she wanted to be.

What followed was a tactical masterclass. Perfectly placed, she took the lead in the decisive corner and never allowed the three chasing Swedes a way back.

By winning the very first race of the season, Kristine has gained an important boost of confidence and sent a strong message to her rivals.

But the real question was : will she maintain this level throughout the entire winter? 👀🔥
