🚨 Just Announced - Samuel Ogazi, Habtom Samuel and Ja’Kobe Tharp have been named as finalists for the 2026 Bowerman Award.

Ogazi completed a historic sweep of the NCAA 400m titles, winning both the indoor and outdoor national championships. He also shattered the collegiate record in the outdoor 400m with a blistering 43.38.

Samuel dominated the distance events all year long, capturing NCAA titles in cross country, the indoor 5,000m, and both the outdoor 5,000m and 10,000m. He also owns the collegiate record in the 10,000m, cementing one of the most dominant distance careers in NCAA history.

Tharp defended his NCAA indoor 60m hurdles title while breaking Grant Holloway’s NCAA record (7.32), then shattered both the 110m hurdles collegiate and world record with a stunning 12.75 before capturing his second straight NCAA outdoor title.
