🇮🇹🍋☀️🌿✨ Cucina Calandra is the closest we’ve come to feeling like we hopped on a plane to Italy… without leaving New Jersey! 🇺🇸❤️ calandrasbakery

From the moment we walked onto the patio 🌼⛱️🍋, the bright yellow umbrellas, beautiful flowers 🌺, charming Italian-inspired architecture 🏛️, and relaxing atmosphere instantly put us in vacation mode. It was elegant enough for a special dinner, yet so welcoming for families that I actually got to relax! 🪑💛

Our girls had the BEST time! 👱‍♀️🎨👱‍♀️
🍕 They watched the chefs make their pizzas from scratch.
🎨 They decorated their own chef hats with crayons.
🥖 They got pizza dough to play with that the staff called “Play-Doh.” 😂
🐭⭐ Their Mickey Mouse and SpongeBob pizzas were a huge hit!

Even on a hot summer day ☀️, the patio stayed comfortable thanks to all of the shaded umbrellas ⛱️, and there were plenty of tables 🪑🍽️ for families to spread out and enjoy their meal. We even finished the night relaxing on the outdoor couch with dessert! 🛋️🍦

And the food… WOW! 🤤🍽️ We loved everything from the warm cheese bread 🧀🥖 to the calamari 🦑, mozzarella sticks 🧀, burrata salad 🥗, fresh seafood 🦐, pasta 🍝, the kids’ pizzas 🍕, and of course cannolis and ice cream 🍦 to end the perfect meal!

If you’re looking for a unique family dining experience where the kids stay entertained and everyone leaves happy, Calandra’s Bakery belongs at the top of your summer bucket list! ❤️🍋✨
