“I used to think that money and your career status defined who you were. I’ve been around successful people most of my life and what I tended to overlook was that doing what you love will truly bring about that order, satisfaction and bliss.”⠀
Jordan Chatman (aka itsjchat), is a photographer and videographer currently based out of Denver, Colorado. ⠀
Chatman got his start in the creative world in April 2019 when he purchased his first camera, a Sony a6000, in pursuit of becoming a hair YouTuber. To get the experience he needed, he quickly began applying to content creation internships and landed his first opportunity as a Social Media Videography Intern at FIU Athletics.⠀
His experience at his internship combined with YouTube University tutorials and constantly capturing the world around him later helped him earn an opportunity with Miami FC.⠀
Chatman graduated from Florida International University in May of 2020, and just a few months later reached out to Fresh Tape Media. Within a week he was flown to Denver, Colorado to begin his internship, where he currently works, as a Junior Creative.⠀
In his role at Fresh Tape Media, Chatman is responsible for producing, directing, capturing and editing photo and video content for a variety of clients including but not limited to puma, anheuserbusch and more.⠀
