If you’re visiting Naples, this is one experience you shouldn’t miss.

🚆 Take the train or bus from Naples to the Vesuvius area.
🚌 From the parking area, a shuttle takes you close to the entrance.
🎟️ Book your ticket in advance.
🥾 Then it’s about a 20–30 minute uphill walk to the crater.

The hike is short but steep, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water—especially in summer.

Standing on the rim of one of the world’s most famous volcanoes, looking into its crater while overlooking the Bay of Naples, is something you’ll never forget.
