July 1st is National Postal Workers Day! It is a day to make sure to send thanks to those that make sure our mail arrives in a timely manner.

For today, Howard letterpress printed an electrotype (copy of a woodcut) that was made in the 1930s and depicts a mail carrier with a large letter. We are thankful for our mail carriers for sending out our online orders and also for those who have been supporting the Sacramento History Museum by purchasing from our store. This was printed with blue rubber base ink using our Washington hand press.
