If you ever worked with me on your social media content and content development, the very first thing that I talk about and the very first thing that I preach about is being yourself genuinely and completely.

Only because the person people see online is the person that people should meet face-to-face.

Do I curate my content? absolutely. 🙂‍↕️

Does that mean that my content is fake? No. 🙂‍↔️

Anybody who truly knows me in person knows that who I am online is pretty much who I am when you meet me.

That includes being loud. Being very honest about my beliefs. Being very intentful about what I advocate for. Completely and totally loving who I am. Being selfless and a little selfish. Being able to cuss someone out if they need it. But, also somebody who has a lot of faith and a lot of heart and a lot of passion not just for life, but also for the people in it and everything that I do around it.

And, that has most definitely taken the last 45 years of my life to learn, to experience and to grow from.

And so, do I celebrate myself? And, did I celebrate my birthday this past weekend to the fullest? And, do I always honor exactly who I am? 

Fck yea. 🤞🏾

And at this point, not that I don’t want to change certain aspects of myself but honestly, I love who I am and I will only continue to grow without trying to become like everyone else.

And for that, I am super thankful! 

Thankful for all of the birthday wishes this past weekend and the last couple of days. 

And, thankful for all of the experiences that have made me who I am. 

AND, most thankful for all of the people currently in my life.

HUGE thank you to one of my amazing friends of almost 10 years, Julie the owner and creator of nostalgia.photography.htx for bringing my photoshoot vision of year 45 to life!
